Our Story
1964
The beginning of Tradition
Franco Sagripanti, at only 22 years old, opens his tailoring in Rome.
1975
The Leap
He became Valentino’s personal tailor, and was asked to make his hand-sewn collections for his High Fashion Maison and collaborates with his textile packaging companies as a consultant in the modelling and cutting department.
1985
The Boost
The name of the Sartoria Sagripanti and its owner grew up to join the National Academy of Tailoring and was appointed Vice President of the European Chamber of “Alta Sartoria”, where with colleagues started a tailoring school for young people who wanted to learn the old craft of the tailor.
2004
The Gratification
He was awarded the illustrious title of “Master” by the mayor of Rome.
